Vox Lucens

Concert Schedule

Vox Lucens typically offers two or three concerts per year. Most concerts are performed twice, once in the Boston area and once in Metro-West.

In addition, we sometimes do smaller concerts or sing services for special occasions, as fundraising opportunities, or just because we feel like it.

Below is our schedule of upcoming concerts:

Note: Vox Lucens' first CD, a collection of 16th-century sacred music recorded in 2003 in the historic Ralph Adams Cram chapel in Sudbury, MA, will be on sale at each concert.

Glorious Serenity ~ Jean L'Heritier

In a preview of their forthcoming CD, Vox Lucens explores works by a master of the French Renaissance whose gorgeous motets deserve to be more widely known. L'Heritier's music, by turns sunnily complex and darkly elegant, ranges from tender praise for holy women to the dramatic nine-part Locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, which evokes the tolling of cosmic bells.
